The Magic Is You
The Big Walnut Friends Who Share Annual Giving Campaign, 'The Magic Is You' raised over $4600 for operating funds for the community pantry.
The funds from the Campaign will help improve the quality of life for others by providing services to families at no cost throughout the year. The Big Walnut Friends Who Share is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization run by an all-volunteer staff. As a result, 100% of donations received are reinvested in food, clothing and household goods to families in need.
The Big Walnut Friends Who Share would like to thank the individuals, organizations and businesses that provided support for the Campaign with their financial donations.

The Big Walnut Friends Who Share would like to acknowledge and thank the Big Walnut Community for its on going support in 2010.

  • Hats off to members of the local National Association of Letter Carriers for a very successful 2010 "Stamp Out Hunger" campaign. Local Letter Carriers and staff collected in excess of 2000 pounds of food items.
The 18th annual NALC National Food Drive to "Stamp Out Hunger" is the largest one-day food drive in the nation. Carriers collected a record 73.4 million pounds of food in last year's drive. The drive is held annually on the second Saturday in May. Photo 1 2 3

  • The Big Walnut Friends Who Share would like to extend a special acknowledgement to our many volunteers who keep the wheels on and move us forward.
